Custom Contact Forms
Custom Contact Forms is an incredibly useful plugin that allows you to create contact forms in an easy-to-use graphical interface and then use a shortcode to display the form on a page, widget, post or in a page/section template in the WordPress Appearance -> Editor.
On our contact page you can see how we customized Custom Contact Forms to display in a two column format with custom fields. You can even create dropdown menus to collect categorical information from your site visitors such as an age range, reason for contacting you, state you live in, etc…
Most importantly, Custom Contact Forms allows your site visitors to contact you easily without sending them AWAY from your site to their email composition program (be that gmail/yahoo/msn/etc in a browser or an email handler such as outlook or thunderbird). The longer you get customers to stay on your site, the more chance you’ll have at them getting in touch or purchasing something from you – it also helps to reduce your bounce rate!
